(Objects of Interest)
NEW! This is the general term used to describe all the different types of features that you can overlay on the maps. These OOIs can contain rich text and images, and be managed in folders. The types of OOI are:

(Points of Interest)
Enhanced! Imported POIs can now contain pictures

(Areas of Interest)
NEW! Plot areas of interest to measure an area or mark a boundary

(Lines of Interest)
NEW! Add a line to a map to mark a boundary or an alternative route.

(Items of Interest)
NEW! Non geo-referenced information containing rich text and images.

NEW! Overlay a grid structure over a map to separate the map into custom sections.

NEW! Interact with many of the Google's mapping features.

  • Create areas/lines and import to your Active 10 as AOIs/LOIs
  • Download geo-tagged Panoramio Photos and import to your Active 10 as POIs
  • Open KMZ files created by the Satmap Geo-tagging application to see your photos placed on a map in locations where you took them
  • After converting your trail to a track, you can now view your TRIP LOG and "play" your tack in Google Earth 5.2.1.1588 or higher if you export the resulting MAP file as a KMZ file to be opened in Google Earth
